Refund Policy

1. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring plan through the method provided in your account, billing portal, or applicable merchant-of-record process. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the already-paid billing period.

2. Refunds We May Consider

Refunds may be considered in good faith for duplicate charges, clear billing errors, credible unauthorized transactions, material technical failures that prevent reasonable access and cannot be remedied, or prompt accidental purchases where there has been little or no meaningful use.

3. What Is Not Ordinarily Refundable

Except where required by law, refunds are not ordinarily issued simply because a user disagrees with an AI-generated score or feedback, dislikes the style of successfully delivered humanized text, receives a lower grade, experiences an institutional or detection-system flag, forgets to cancel before a valid renewal, or leaves paid time, words, or submissions unused.

4. Word Allowances

Monthly or periodic word allowances are service-use limits, not cash balances. Unless a plan expressly says otherwise, unused words do not roll over, have no cash value, and do not create a right to a refund. Report obvious usage-tracking errors so we can investigate.

5. Technical Problems

Please contact support before requesting a chargeback. We may be able to restore access, correct a limit error, reprocess a request, or provide another reasonable remedy. Temporary provider delays do not automatically require a refund if the Service can reasonably be restored.

6. How to Request a Refund

Contact support@essayhow.com with the email associated with the purchase, approximate purchase date, plan or product, and a description of the issue. Do not send full card numbers, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information.

7. Payment Providers and Chargebacks

Purchases may be processed through Lemon Squeezy or another authorized provider, whose operational rules may affect refund processing. Contact us and the provider first where practical. Do not initiate a chargeback for a valid charge merely to avoid this policy, while retaining your lawful right to dispute genuinely unauthorized or erroneous transactions.

8. Approved Refunds

If approved, a refund may be full or partial depending on the circumstances and applicable law. Access to the refunded paid features may be reduced or terminated as appropriate. Refund timing depends on the payment provider and financial institution.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy for future purchases or renewals, subject to applicable law.
